For people who already feel somewhat comfortable with the basics, in Spanish 2, you will start talking, listening
and reading about past actions: the preterite.

Conversemos. Conversación sobre temas de actualidad...
- la caja de las preguntas: provocativas e interesantes preguntas para iniciar una conversación sobre muy diversos temas
- la caja de las historias: ideas para compartir historias o experiencias interesantes y/o divertidas
Hablemos de cine. Parte de las siete sesiones de La Tertulia están dedicadas a la discusión de películas españolas e hispanoamericanas. Para la primera temporada de
primavera de 2012
hemos elegido las siguientes películas:
- Camila (Argentina)
- Whisky (Uruguay)
- Historias mínimas (Argentina)
El programa es flexible y la lista de películas se adapta a los gustos e intereses de los participantes.
- Todas las películas se ven en casa. Puede verlas cuantas veces quiera.
- Hay copias de los devedés disponibles en la biblioteca de Spanish Class.
- Amplias guías de discusión antes y después de ver las películas.
Personaje de la temporada.
El personaje de la temporada es uno colectivo:
Los gauchos.
Habrá lecturas sobre este importante habitante de las pampas argentinas y una introducción a la música pampeana. En Argentina no todo es tango.
Hablemos de literatura. Lectura y discusión de un cuento breve (con guías de vocabulario) de Jorge Luis Borges:
